A bit about us…

Katie Harvey

FOUNDER, TEACHER & ACTOR

From over 10 years experience performing professionally in shows such as Evita (UK and European Tour), The Sound of Music, (UK & Ireland tour) and Cinderella (Cadogen Hall), I turned to teaching and have never looked back. I like to combine my performing and teacher career together to bring out the best in my students. Whether its working on vocal technique, performance etiquette or song workshop, it’s the joy I see in my students who have a eureka moment or achieve a milestone that I love. In 2026 together, with Matt, we founded HMTC, Horsham Musical Theatre Choir and we are excited where that will lead us in the future.

TEACHER, COMPOSER & ACTOR

Alongside his impressive acting CV including shows such as, Just For One Day (Shaftesbury Theatre), Les Miserables (Sondheim Theatre), Jesus Christ Superstar (Barbican Theatre) and more, his musical Now or Never (Barn Theatre) was written in lockdown and performed live in a one shot take online. He has recently written a musical called ‘Unbound’ which was performed at Hoxton Hall last year and has been part of BYMT and NYMT with his compositions. His show ‘Starcrossed’ can also be found on Spotify, along with ‘Unbound’ and ‘Whatever Happens Next’

Matt Harvey

  • Evita

    I first played Eva Peron in my third year at Arts Educational Schools London. I joined the UK Tour of the show in 2018 as alternate Eva Peron.

  • Concerts

    I’ve performed in a variety of concerts in the West End including, Kerry Ellis at the London Palladium, Peter Polycarpou at The Garrick Theatre, The Olivier Awards at The Royal Opera House, The BBC Proms at The Royal Albert Hall and many more.

  • The Sound of Music

    I joined the original cast of The Sound of Music UK & Ireland Tour in 2014. Since then I’ve returned to the production several times. Most recently I understudied and played the role of Maria.
